The kids learned interesting things about animals like:  The giant clam, tridacna, lives in Pacific Ocean and its shell can be over 4 feet in length and it can weigh as much as 725 pounds!  Our 6 year old loved the Giant Anteater information as that is currently his favorite animal.  This book also shares information on endangered species and environments that is current and up to date so our children can understand what is happening to the animal life in our world today.
