Jeremy Camp CD & Book GIVEAWAY

The majority of the music we listen to in our home and car is Contemporary Christian.  One of our favorite Christian artist is Jeremy Camp.  On February 12, Camp released his latest album, Reckless.  This album is already climbing the radio charts and making headlines.

In regards to Reckless, Camp says "Musically and vocally, it's more raw but in a good way."  Camp explains that the concept of recklessness came through Acts 14 and looking at the life of Paul.  Paul returns to Lystra to share the gospel - a city where he had been stoned and left for dead just days before.  Sounds crazy that he would return to a place like that.  "It's more reckless than crazy, and there's a difference.  Paul wasn't being crazy for crazy's sake, saying 'I don't care what's going to happen.  I just want to go.'  No, when you feel God calling you to do something, you have to obedient.  And that's the difference.  Paul was just obedient.  That's what reckless is."  

This CD and the musical lyrics contained in it were so powerful for my husband and I. Last August, we sold everything we owned, moved 20 hours away from where we were born, raised and grew up and stepped on sheer faith (obedience/recklessness) to complete a 2 year training program as full-time missionaries before we move onto foreign soil to take the gospel to tribal people in unreached and hostile locations. Songs like "The Way You Love Me", "Come Alive", "Without You" and "My God" bring us into a state of worship and remind us of God's amazing attributes and love.  You cannot listen to this CD without coming into a time of worship.  Camp has produced what is probably my favorite of all his CD's so far.
